Built on Microsoft Fabric
Proven enterprise platform, used in production by hundreds of Microsoft customers worldwide – scale, governance and security come as standard.
Your enterprise knowledge – semantically searchable.
Built on Microsoft Fabric – already deployed at hundreds of Microsoft customers worldwide. askmi combines structured enterprise data with AI analysis: PDFs, documents, images and videos – semantically searchable.
The Challenge
Structured data and the spoken word of your organisation exist separately – and that is exactly where the most valuable insights are lost.
ERP, CRM, databases, SharePoint, cloud buckets – every system speaks its own language, every team has its own data access. Unified evaluations are laborious and error-prone.
In meetings, customer conversations and team discussions, valuable insights are created every day – strategies, objections, ideas. They are spoken, but never structured or linked to the data.
AI systems and analytics only work on the basis of data they can access. Without spoken context, the 'why' is missing – and answers remain superficial.
The Solution
askmi adds a completely new dimension to the proven Microsoft Fabric data strategy: the human voice of your organisation.
Data Agent · Knowledge Graph · Voice Enrichment · Azure OpenAI · Source grounding
Ontology · Graph · Data & Operations Agents · Semantic Models · Purview governance · Stored once, used everywhere
Microsoft Fabric connects your existing systems via shortcuts and mirroring – data stays in place, no expensive and risky migration project. OneLake forms a unified, governance-ready view across all sources.
The products tellmi and talkmi (multilingual) record meetings, discussions and customer conversations and deliver structured transcripts. They identify the topics discussed, keywords and the essential elements of the conversation. For usable knowledge management, askmi links these voice insights directly to the corresponding records in OneLake – adding the meaning and interpretation expressed by people to your numbers. Direct analysis of figures with data science or business intelligence methods can thus be combined with human experiential knowledge and stored in a reusable way.
Capabilities
Nine core building blocks – structured data plus content intelligence for PDFs, Office, images and videos.
Proven enterprise platform, used in production by hundreds of Microsoft customers worldwide – scale, governance and security come as standard.
Content from PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is extracted, vectorised and used by Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to deliver grounded AI answers – with source reference down to the exact location.
Transcripts from tellmi, live translations from talkmi and on-screen content from showmi flow directly into askmi – as searchable, semantically linked knowledge building blocks.
askmi combines structured tabular data with texts from conversations, documents and videos – turning them into actionable, business-relevant knowledge with context and source reference.
One search across structured data, documents, images and videos – in natural language, with source reference down to the exact location.
AI assigns documents, images and videos to topics, business areas and sensitivity classes automatically – consistent across all sources.
Your data is yours: fully exportable and downloadable at any time, in open formats – no vendor lock-in.
Encryption with your own keys (CMK) in Azure Key Vault – maximum data protection and full control over key rotation and revocation.
askmi is available as a preview for interested customers from autumn 2026. Pilot partners actively shape the platform with us.
Platform
Fabric IQ is Microsoft's workload for a unified, AI-ready view of your business – with shared business semantics that Power BI, notebooks and agents understand alike.
Business entities, relationships and rules – defined once, binding everywhere.
Native graph store with pattern matching and path queries over OneLake.
Custom Q&A agent that speaks your business terms – not table names.
Real-time monitoring with recommended, auditable actions.
Power BI models aligned with the ontology – consistent KPIs everywhere.
Stream processing with rule-based actions across all sources.
Use Cases
A salesperson asks: "What did customer Müller GmbH criticise in the last three meetings, and how did revenue evolve in that period?" askmi joins tellmi conversation transcripts with CRM and ERP data via the Fabric IQ ontology – consistent in your business terms instead of brittle table joins.
Product managers discuss features; tellmi captures it; askmi binds mentioned feature names via the ontology to backlog items, ticket system and usage telemetry – so context is never lost.
Compliance-relevant decisions are often made verbally in meetings. askmi archives them, binds them via the ontology to documents and approval processes, and can trigger rule-based follow-ups via Fabric Activator – audit-proof and GDPR-compliant.
Question: "Which orders are at risk if supplier X fails?" The Fabric knowledge graph traverses the supply-chain relationships across subsidiaries and OneLake shortcuts and returns a list plus a risk score – without migrating data between tenants.
Eventhouse stream + Operations Agent detect an anomaly (e.g. a temperature deviation in logistics). The ontology adds context (which order, which customer, which SLA) and the agent recommends or starts an audited action via Fabric Activator – with a full audit trail.
